We have a "newsletter". If you sign up for the newsletter you'll get periodic updates from the farm. Topics range from "upcoming events" to "times when Febreze is a suitable alternative to showering". It's little slices of life from the farm, often funny because laughter is a stress-relieving necessity. It's not a hard-sell kinda newsletter because we're really terrible at hard-selling anything.

I’m listening to Christmas music only because I have to. I’m putting together “the perfect holiday music playlist” for wagon-ride season. Johnny Cash, Bing Crosby, Patsy Cline — all the old country and crooner Christmas music I loathed as a … Continue reading

The Milkman Returns!
What’s playing in the kitchen: Milk by Kings of Leon. (I’ve always liked this song though, seriously, I have no idea what the heck the lyrics are about.) Oh thank heavens. We have a milk man!! I … Continue reading

Cowboyin’
My husband Jeff is not a big horse-riding person. He always says, “If I can ride one where my feet touch the ground, that’s just right.” This is a good thing, because there is a LOT of stuff to … Continue reading

Weekend Update
What a whirlwind weekend! I actually spent 10 hours in the saddle one day. That was awesome. Our horses can be real characters. During one ride I thought I’d give our big black Tennessee Walker mare a break and … Continue reading
